Today, the Korean Evangelical Holiness Church (the OMS-related denomination in Korea) and OMS International are both involved in ministry in Russia, doing evangelism, church planting, church growth and development, theological education and leadership training.

OMS ministries in Russia

• The OMS Russia field supports the work of Blagovest Churches (Good News) as they expand their vision to strengthen the association by starting additional churches in existing cities and in unreached areas.
• Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary’s reputation as a premier theological training institution continues to grow as former students spread the word. The seminary offers divinity and Christian ministry degrees at both the master’s and bachelor’s levels. While studying, students enjoy a hands-on experience as part of their course work, in addition to service in local churches.
• Local church-based training has been encouraged in Blagovest churches for the development of new pastors, church leaders and lay people because many potential Russian church leaders cannot go to Moscow for training. A “distance learning program” provided by the seminary further enhances this leadership training.
• OMS Russia has partnered with Hinkson Christian Academy to become a sending agency for the school as they seek to provide a Christian education to children of missionaries, businesspeople and English-speaking Russians. This will allow expatriate teachers to join the OMS Russia team, along with the school, giving opportunities for a larger and more vital impact for Jesus Christ in the Moscow region. 
• The Home Church Movement in Moscow is wanting to make an impact in the communities they live in order to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This will be accomplished through starting a rapid home church multiplication model that will spread throughout Moscow and beyond. 
• BORShT (Bringing Over to Russia Short-Termers) coordinates and facilitates short-term teams to Russia in assisting the OMS-related ministries. These teams include work teams to our churches, intercessory prayer teams to Moscow and other regions and work/VBS teams to the orphanages OMS ministers in. Short-term teams are a blessing to OMS' work and have a positive influence for Christ in Russia.   
• OMS has an orphan ministry in Russia that exists to show love, mercy and compassion to Russian orphans.  It is a church-based ministry and is helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of orphans.
