As urbanization sweeps East Asia, OMS is establishing evangelism team partnerships with East Asian believers to help plant churches in the manufacturing region of East Asia. The possibilities for extensive ministry are easily imagined when one considers that tens of thousands of manufacturing facilities employ millions of people in this region.

In recent travels, an OMS missionary visited the dual purpose manufacturing facility/church site of a family health and beauty company. Forty staff members are employed to conduct the business, and up to 10 staff are employed for “Kingdom” business.

As men and women meet Christ through ministries like these and are discipled to follow Him, their travels to and from every home province has the potential to significantly spread Christian influence across East Asia.

This ministry platform is also excellent for our East Asia Seminary* students who can serve in this manufacturing facility worker ministry in East Asia. In the shop or manufacturing facility, there are opportunities to share the Gospel with workers and customers and to form worship and discipleship groups.
