COLOMBIA—Pray for the faculty meetings taking place from December 2-4, for God’s direction and a time of fellowship. Pray for students for next year. Praise God for His financial provision for the end of the year budget expenses.

Pray for the reunion of Argiro Zapata with his brothers and sisters in Bellavista. He was sent on an errand at age six and lost his family 20 years ago. Pray this will be a day of salvation for them.

Uplift Jairo whose father passed away on November 20. His mother, Marleny, and his father prayed to receive Christ just hours before his death. Ask for God’s comfort and protection. Pray for financial provision for the prison ministry.

Pray for the church in Colombia as special evangelistic activities are prepared for this Christmas season. Pray for encouragement for the persecuted church. Remember Interamerican student Luis Carlos Garcia, going into the area of conflict to minister.

ECUADOR—Kathy Coon reports the good news that the CAT scan and bone scan she had recently both came back clear, indicating that the cancer has not spread. Praise the Lord with Kathy for this good news.

EVERY COMMUNITY FOR CHRIST—ECC MYANMAR—Praise the Lord for the effectiveness of the ECC teams. Pray for physical and spiritual protection for all ECC workers in the face of illness and persecution.
ECC PHILIPPINES—Ask for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and clear vision of church multiplication among team members. Pray for spiritual growth in the Bible studies, for the ministry to the tribal groups and for the financial and spiritual needs of all the team members and their families.
ECC INTERNATIONAL TEAM—Pray for Willie Hochhalter and Dick McLeish, traveling in the Caribbean, to have clear understanding and ministry with the church leaders and good fellowship and encouragement with the workers they meet.

HAITI—Praise the Lord for the final roof going on at the Emmaus Biblical Seminary on the men’s dorm. The Haiti field is thankful for the team that the Lord sent from Hamilton, Ontario, that lent an able arm to assist Gord Wallace, Neil von Arb and Sam Aberle. Pray for workers to go to Haiti to help complete the project. Pray also that they remain focused on completing the seminary project.

Pray for Brett Bundy, giving leadership to the Haiti field. Brett is working with a group from Hamilton, Ontario, to sponsor a special race on January 10 in Cap-Haitien to raise funds for Radio 4VEH as well as to meet some of the other financial needs of the field. They desire to share the Lord with many Haitians, both in government and business, as well as with local Haitian runners who participate. Pray that all the details will be worked out and that His name will be glorified.

Pray for the Flavil church where Erica Thompson attends. They are working through internal problems. Ask the Lord to heal and unite the families.

Pray for the Emmaus pastors, working on a clear vision for the future of the work in the north of Haiti.

JAPAN—Praise the Lord that the MFMI work team has bonded well and that they have worked safely. They have about 80 percent of the siding up. Pray for continued safety as they work and for each of the team members sharing with the seminary students in the morning prayer time.

Pray for the many outreach events going on in the various churches across Japan during December. They will have many parties and events in which some students will be hearing about the true meaning of Christmas for the first time. Pray for tender hearts and for some of the older English students to make decisions this Christmas season.

Be praying for the three couples/families who are on home assignment this year: Sam and Karen Sue Kohler, Daniel and Keiko Sexton and Stephen and Beth Dupree. The Kohlers and Sextons hope to return early next year but need additional support.

Pray for Dixie King and Mitsuru Nishigori, finding the data to finish the financial reports.

Pray for Lillian Shinoda, working with the Sakado Church youth ministries, serving on several boards as the OMS representative, and helping with the development of youth ministries within the Japan Holiness Church. She puts in long hours and needs prayer for God’s sustaining power to balance so many things and travel to various locations for meetings.

MOZAMBIQUE—The Mozambique field appreciates Melvin and Sharon Kelly, who served there for the last three months. Pray for them as they return to Ireland and prepare for further missionary service. May God continue to bless the ministry they began in Mozambique and provide for their needs.

Seven students have completed the African text curriculum program at the seminary. This is the first graduating class to complete their studies in the new seminary facility.

Pray for completion of a drilled water well at Intaca; ask that the parts to complete installation will arrive. Ask that a reasonably priced hammer-drill will be located for use at Picoco, where a layer of rock has stopped the well-drilling operations.

SOUTH KOREA—The Korea Evangelical Holiness Church (KEHC) celebrates the 30th anniversary of its overseas missions committee on December 7. Pray for God to be glorified and for the mission work of the KEHC to continue to grow and become more effective in spreading God’s kingdom around the world.

Pray for faculty and students at Seoul Theological University, preparing for final exams that take place from December 8-12.

TAIWAN—The Taipei Shrlin church will host an annual garden party on December 13; it’s a big event and a great evangelistic opportunity. Don and Marla Bettinger are assisting in the planning and preparation. Ask that God will use this as a bridge and witness to those coming in from the community. Pray also for the Christmas program at the Shrlin church on December 20. Pray that the college-age students performing an evangelistic play will give a strong witness for Christ on this night.

Continue to pray for students attending the community school classes at the Shrlin church. God is giving many open doors for sharing Christ with those who attend. Pray for students to be ready to respond by accepting Christ as Savior.

Praise for growth in the OMS Tainan church. Sunday worship attendance has grown from 650 to 900 since they completed their sanctuary four months ago.

UKRAINE—Pray for several students in Randy and Shelley Marshall’s cell group to go deeper spiritually and to commit to deeper discipleship and for Randy and Shelley to have wisdom on how to encourage and disciple these students.

Continue to pray for Shelley Marshall’s healing. Pray for her heart to grow stronger and make it possible for her to reduce some medications she currently takes. She has done well in her return to Ukraine, but would prefer get off some prescriptions.

Pray for the three English clubs to have an impact on the non-Christian students who attend. Ask that these students will be drawn closer to a decision for Jesus as a result of the clubs and for wisdom in arranging and organizing them.

Praise the Lord that Kevin and Debbie Nelson were granted one-year visas. Pray that they will now be able to get long-term visa registration in Kiev.

Praise the Lord that the church youth group wants to meet twice a week. The plan for the second meeting is an in-depth Bible study. Pray for wisdom for the leaders and for hunger for the Word for the students.

Thanks for your ongoing prayers for business English. For the next 2½ weeks, the discussion portion of the class will be led by a substitute teacher. Pray for her as she leads.

BRAZIL—Thank you for praying for the seminary student who was considering dropping out of school. She has changed her mind. Pray she will be willing to stop dating a non-Christian.

Praise the Lord for the first down payment for the purchase of the seminary properties by the national church.

Remember Marla Routon who has a possible RH factor problem in this pregnancy. Pray there will be no harm to the baby nor to Marla. Continue to pray for Micah and Marla and Jeff and Laura Edwards, on homeland ministry assignment.

The Jardim Imagawa Missionary Church in Londrina is planning a couples' camp the last weekend of November. Pray for those couples who have signed up and for those who will be bringing messages.

Continue to pray for the woman Des and Karine Quinn are helping. She continues to have high blood pressure, even after the birth of her baby.

COLOMBIA—Pray for the seminary faculty meetings, taking place from December 2-4. Pray particularly for Dr. Manuel Reano in his leadership role.

Remember the graduations in Bellavista Bible Institute on December 5. Praise the Lord that the church behind bars continues to grow. Pray for the weekly class Jeannine Brabon has with ten former leaders of the guerrillas. On the first day, the coordinator, Jair Bedoya said he wanted to change, and he accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior after 20 years as a rebel. Pray for the prison staff both inside and outside prison walls and for the great financial needs to be met so that the ministry can continue.

Pray for all the churches in Colombia that are preparing for the Christmas season, for the evangelistic outreaches in December and for encouragement for the persecuted church in the areas of conflict.

EVERY COMMUNITY FOR CHRIST—ECC MEXICO—Praise the Lord for ECC workers who are embracing the new strategies for evangelism and church planting and for their boldness in sharing the Gospel. Pray for more potential leaders.
ECC MOZAMBIQUE—Praise the Lord for the tremendous growth of the church in the north of the country. Ask the Lord to send out more workers and to provide financial, emotional, and spiritual blessings and protection over all the workers.
ECC INTERNATIONAL TEAM—Pray for continued guidance and wisdom for leaders as they begin formulating plans for next year. Praise the Lord for the tremendous third quarter results being reported from around the world. All glory and honor to Him.

HONG KONG—Keep asking that the OMS team will know the Lord’s will for the Joy Garden property sale. Also, at Telford Garden, a missionary is working with the management to ask the upstairs owner to fix the leak in their plumbing that comes into his family’s apartment.

Cindy has one new prayer “seeker.” It is difficult to connect with her. Pray for breakthrough.
