Our Offices
The first headquarters of The Oriental Missionary Society (OMS) was established in Tokyo, Japan in 1901. As work progressed into Korea and China, the headquarters was moved to Peking (Beijing) before World War II. Recognizing the need for a US base of operations for processing gifts, finances, communications, logistics, etc., the headquarters was moved to Los Angeles, California. In 1966, OMS moved the international headquarters to Greenwood, Indiana (just south of Indianapolis) in order to be closer to our core base of constituents.
Though our international headquarters and OMS USA offices are located outside Indianapolis, Indiana, OMS International operates several offices throughout the world that also send missionaries from their country. Please click on the country you want and you'll be directed to their webpage on this site. You can also use the Contact Us form under the "About OMS" section in the main navigation bar above to contact each office via email.
