JAPAN—Praise the Lord that the MFMI work team has bonded well and that they have worked safely. They have about 80 percent of the siding up. Pray for continued safety as they work and for each of the team members sharing with the seminary students in the morning prayer time.
Pray for the many outreach events going on in the various churches across Japan during December. They will have many parties and events in which some students will be hearing about the true meaning of Christmas for the first time. Pray for tender hearts and for some of the older English students to make decisions this Christmas season.
Be praying for the three couples/families who are on home assignment this year: Sam and Karen Sue Kohler, Daniel and Keiko Sexton and Stephen and Beth Dupree. The Kohlers and Sextons hope to return early next year but need additional support.
Pray for Dixie King and Mitsuru Nishigori, finding the data to finish the financial reports.
Pray for Lillian Shinoda, working with the Sakado Church youth ministries, serving on several boards as the OMS representative, and helping with the development of youth ministries within the Japan Holiness Church. She puts in long hours and needs prayer for God’s sustaining power to balance so many things and travel to various locations for meetings.
Pray for preparations for the annual Christian Academy in Japan high school Christmas concert that takes place on December 5. Many non-Christian Japanese will attend. Ask God to speak through the music.
