John and Tricia Fraser

 

Church Planting/Teacher

John and Tricia Fraser have served with OMS International in Hungary since 2002. John has served as the pastor of the OMS-related church in Budapest and as ECC coordinator. He also taught classes at the theological school of the Wesleyan Alliance in Budapest. From 2005–2007, John served as the field leader for OMS Hungary. 

Tricia served as field hostess in Hungary from 2005–2007 and led the missionary women’s Bible study. Her primary ministry was to their two children, Hannah and Matthew, who attended Hungarian preschool in Budapest. They now have a third child, Jonathan, who was born in March 2008.

John works with Hungarian pastors and church planters in mentoring and theological training. He is working to develop a ministry of apologetics through the Wesleyan Alliance Theological School in Budapest. He is also helping Hungarian workers develop a strategy for multiplying house churches in Hungary.

John earned a bachelor of arts degree from Aldersgate College in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1991; a master of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, in 1996; and a master of theology in world missions and evangelism from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2001. John pastored the Free Methodist Church in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada, from 1991–1992 and was an assistant pastor in the Kalamazoo, Michigan, Free Methodist Church from 1996–2000.

Tricia received a bachelor of arts from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York, in 1992 and a master of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1996. She served as office manager for the Right to Life organization in Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1997–2000.
