Team Leaders, Northwest Region

Jeff and Michelle were accepted with OMS International in June 2007 and commissioned in 2008. They took their first trip to Kenya, Burundi and Rwanda, Africa, in July 2007. Both Jeff and Michelle are serving OMS International as team leaders for the Northwest Region. The regional team is building a base that will serve Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Nevada with leaders who are willing to do God’s work around the world. They will keep their professional careers while working for OMS International, and they will make several trips a year to OMS fields with short-term teams.

Jeff and Michelle attend PlainView Church in Albany, Oregon, where Jeff serves as a builder and groundskeeper. Michelle serves as secretary and treasurer at PlainView Church, helps with the building maintenance and serves God on the worship team for Sunday morning services.

Jeff and Michelle have four children and five grandchildren.

Jeff has worked in the construction field for more than 29 years and is now a high school wood shop teacher. Michelle has worked more than 27 years in the finance and banking industry and currently is the treasurer of Linn County in Albany, Oregon. Jeff and Michelle have owned their own family cabinet shop for more than 15 years.

Michelle was first introduced to missions through her parents, Orlind and Arlene Case. Their dedication to the mission field, along with serving a great God, is what changed Jeff and Michelle’s outlook on life.

Jeff and Michelle took their first trip to the mission field in 2005 to the South Pacific with a group from PlainView Church. This is where they felt the Lord first called them to missions. The desire of Jeff and Michelle’s hearts is to serve the Lord through OMS International by working with churches, colleges and organizations, facilitating and mobilizing teams to travel to OMS fields, working in a variety of capacities.
