Field Treasurer

Gail Leroy has served as a missionary with OMS International since 1979. As director of Compassion International in Medellin, Colombia, Gail provided Christian education, school supplies, medical help, nutrition programs, and clothing for poverty-stricken children. In September 1989 she returned to OMS headquarters in Greenwood, IN.

In 1992 Gail returned to Colombia to work with the national church in starting cell group churches. In 1996 she was asked to be the administrator for the Biblical Seminary. During this term she was also the area superintendent for OMS in Colombia and coordinated the work teams that came from the U.S.

In November 1997 Gail’s visa was denied, and she returned to the U.S. She is now working as Director of Administrative Services.

Gail is the administrator of both the OMS team and of Christ Church. Gail was raised in Colombia and returned to work there as an adult, serving as the administrator for the OMS initiated seminary in Medellin and also working with Compassion International. Gail brings tremendous administrative and organizational gifts to our work in Montevideo. Additionally, she serves as a link between OMS International and OMS Uruguay for Men for Missions and other short-term teams. She is a resident “aunt” for the ten MK’s on the team and is also developing a wide array of relationships both inside and outside Christ Church for the growth of God’s Kingdom in Uruguay.
